Welcome
We've had an exciting first quarter with new programmes, continued support for families, and great success across our services. Thank you for being part of our journey!

Heart Of The Community
Our Heart Of The Community project has come to an end after 3 years. Throughout the project we were able to help 300 families who signed up to the project and their wider family through offering Agored Cymru qualifications such as Resilience and Child Development. We also held cooking on a budget classes with the aim to teach families in the local community how to cook healthy and budget friendly meals.
Lles Ar Gyfer Gwaith/ Wellbeing for work
CYCA are currently delivering a wellbeing for work project, that will help to support people aged 16+ back into work. Offering individuals:
- 1:1 support
- Confidence building
- Fostering neurodivergent inclusive training

Our Nurseries
Both Nurseries have been busy welcoming new children and families to our settings. We also welcomed two new staff members to the team, Sara and Sam. Tedi Bach received their annual CIW inspection and achieved an 'excellent' rating within the care and development theme and good standard across all other themes. Tedi Bach have successfully completed the 'talk with me programme' through the Flying Start team with Jellitotz awaiting their start date. The training will offer lots of new opportunities for our children. The Nursery Leaders have been busy planning family days and summer calendars and have successfully received external funding from small grants to purchase new resources. Staff continue to pursue best practice, by attending a wealth of further training and qualifications. We would like to congratulate Sarah Smith on achieving her level 4.

Congratulations Lyndsey
Congratulations Lyndsey who was chosen as a winner for the Inspire Tutor Awards this year! This was a fantastic recognition of her hard work, dedication, and the positive impact she has made. We are incredibly proud of everything Lyndsey has achieved during her time with us. Her passion for helping others and commitment to her role continue to inspire both learners and colleagues.

Big Sky Holiday Club
CYCA are running our Children in Need funded holiday club in Pontyates with a view to enabling children to engage in a range of activities including arts and crafts, LEGO and cooking. We are also offering wellbeing activities, encouraging the children to share their thoughts and feelings and feelings and teaching them about resilience.
