One in three young people will grow up without having a mentor.

Mentoring can help young people as they go through challenging and difficult life transitions. This could be dealing with stressful changes at home or transitioning into adult life.

Benefits of Mentoring for the Mentor:

  • Allows you to give back to your community
  • Make a positive difference in a person’s life
  • Become a positive role model for others

Benefits of Mentoring for the Mentee:

  • Allows the young person to talk to some one about any issues they are facing
  • Build a positive relationship with their mentor
  • Improve their self esteem and confidence
  • Improve their communication skills
  • Stronger relationships with parents, peers and teachers.
