Looked after children

CYCA have our Lloyds Bank Foundation Project which provides bespoke Mentoring Support for Care Leavers. Offering support to increase well-being and developing living independent skills. The Lloyds Bank Foundation Project provides access to accredited Agored Cymru units and free childcare which is underpinned by CYCA’s Resilience Model. Support can be offered in small groups or on an individual basis.

Our Work with Children and Young People

We deliver specialist training qualification for the children and young people. The courses are part of the Personal and Social Education Framework for Wales. The children access the courses in both group environment and on a one to one basis. 

The groups are established by working closely with local Family Centre, Integrated Community Centres and Schools. Whilst the one to one courses are delivered through our well-being mentoring support package provided for the children.
