Alun Littlejohn has given CYCA the opportunity to have a shop in the St Elli Centre. The shop is the new CYCA Hwb, and our community ambassador volunteers from our Heart of the community lottery funded project will be based there.

We are also showcasing our Dreigiau CYCA Dragons winners and participants and every individual has their own place inside the store to showcase their products and be able to sell to the public. We officially opened on the 13th Of October 2022. Alun Littlejohn cut the ribbon for us and we had the local dignitaries attend, the town mayor and his consort.

We also had the leader of Carmarthenshire County Council and we had representatives from the community renewal department in Carmarthenshire County Council.

It was attended by many partners and staff and volunteers. We had a fantastic celebratory event opening our CYCA hwb. We were open from 1:30pm to the public and our Volunteer Community Ambassadors report that it was a very successful afternoon and we sold a number of toys and items.
