To provide educational and recreational services for children, young people and their families throughout Carmarthenshire.
OwnZone
The OwnZone project is in it's third year and works in partnership with ContinYou Cymru. The project follows the government thinking that by 2010 all secondary schools, will be open from 8am to 6pm, all year round, providing access to a wide range of activities for young people, such as sport, music and offering holiday activities.
The project currently works with two schools in Llanelli, Bryngwyn and Coedcae and provides a safe and secure environment after school for 10 - 14 year-olds to relax with friends, get help with homework and develop new skills and interests such as:
- Gardening Club - providing hanging baskets for the local community.
- Digital Diaries - addresses issues that affect young peolpe.
- Massage
