CYCA has won an award at the Lloyds Bank Foundation Charity Achievement Awards event. The Senedd was filled with more than 70 charities from Wales as Lloyds Bank Foundation celebrated 30 years of grant making and announced the Welsh winners of its Charity Achievement Awards.

Securing futures celebrate another year of funding from the big lottery

We have secured another year of funding from the BIG Lottery, this funding will give us the opportunity to support many more families with the Securing Futures Project until May 2017. The project began in May 2012 and was funded for four years by the BIG Lottery in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council. We are now in our fourth year and we have supported over 200 families across Carmarthenshire.

Retiring After 26 years


She has dedicated 26 years of her life to a Llanelli children's charity - working with generations of families. but now Sue David has announced her retirement from Carmarthenshire Youth Association (CYCA) Chief Executive of the charity Tracy Pike who first met Mrs David in 1993 said "Sue has been dedicated and passionate about her job all her career, going the extra mile for every child. She leaves a strong team of staff who she has invested time in, now it's her time to enjoy her family, we wish her well!"
