Chief Executive Tracy scoops 'Community Champion' Award

Community Champion awardCYCA Chief Executive, Tracy Pike has been honoured for her contribution ot the local community by winning the presiguous Llanelli Star Communtiy Champion Award 2013.

Tracy has been rewarded for her tireless work in supporting children, young people, and their families across the county for over 15 years. Through her dedication and commitment to support vulnerable people and improve the lives of children and their families, millions of pounds worth of funding has been brought to the county over the years, which has helped her and her staff to develop and implement numerous 'life changing' projects and services.

"I am absolutely thrilled and privileged to not only be nominated for the award, but also to win it. It is a tribute to CYCA's staff," Mrs Pike said.

"It is not about one person, it is about the whole group, without their support you can't be a community champion.

"This is a testimony to how the voluntary sector can make a difference."

Tracy's award follows on from CYCA's 2012 success, where it picked up the Llanelli Star Charity of the Year award.
